The Department of Educational Leadership, Counseling, and Social Work at Saint Joseph’s University invites applications for an Adjunct/Affiliate Professor in Educational Leadership. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. Online teaching possibilities are included.Adjunct/affiliate faculty are expected to teach a specified online or face to face course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.
Required qualifications include a doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership or closely related majors or a master’s degree and unique or outstanding expertise in leadership.
Preference will be given to candidates who currently work as school administrators and who have worked in partnership with a university.
May require standing for long periods of time, talking for long periods of time and carrying course materials. Many classes are held during evening hours 5:30 – 9:30 PM (EST).
