The Wolverine Group (TWG) is seeking a part-time Acquisition Technology Analyst to support the development of digital tools, research products, and content for the federal acquisition community. This is an entry-level remote role with flexible hourly scheduling — well suited to someone building a career in federal acquisition or seeking consulting work alongside other commitments.


This role is a strong entry point into federal acquisition technology. You will work directly with senior practitioners on products used by acquisition professionals across government.


Responsibilities

  • Tests acquisition tools and digital products, documenting issues, edge cases, and usability findings
  • Conducts research on federal acquisition policy, regulation, vendor capabilities, and market developments; summarizes findings in clear written products
  • Drafts and maintains documentation, user guides, and reference materials
  • Produces visual assets — diagrams, one-pagers, social graphics, and presentation support — in Canva using TWG brand templates
  • Supports content production for training and thought leadership, including formatting, editing, and quality review
  • Maintains trackers, reference libraries, and organizational materials
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant experience; recent graduates and current students considered
  • Demonstrated interest in federal acquisition, government contracting, or public sector technology
  • Proficiency with Canva, including working within an established brand kit and video creation
  • Demonstrated practical use of generative AI tools
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and follow through without close supervision
  • US Citizenship required


Preferred

  • Coursework or credential in government contracting, public policy, business, or a related field
  • Prior internship or work experience in federal contracting or a government-adjacent environment
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation
  • Basic HTML or web publishing familiarity
  • Experience with research synthesis or technical writing

  • Curious and self-directed; asks questions rather than guessing
  • Comfortable receiving direct feedback and iterating
  • Available for occasional scheduled working sessions during business hours
  • No travel required
