The salary range for this position is $52,000 - $75,200 per year based on direct and relevant experience. 

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an Accountant II to join our team. The accounting team at RAYUS Radiology is a diverse group of accounting professionals fostering continuous learning, employee appreciation and promoting an inclusive culture. As an Accountant II, you will be responsible for performing accounting-related activities as assigned, with minimal coaching as well as perform month-end close duties, prepare and reconcile financial statements, prepare audit and budget schedules, and support management decisions through financial analysis.  This is a Full-Time, 100% remote position working weekday business hours on Eastern Standard Time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(95%) Accounting Functions

• Compile and analyze information to prepare journal entries to general ledger accounts
• Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Ensure accounting activity for assigned area(s) is recorded accurately and timely
• Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements
• Present monthly financial statements to operations leaders
• Answer questions from operations leaders
• Actively participate in the annual budget process
• Research standard accounting transactions (invoice retrieval, inquiry of operations team)
• Monitor progress on capital projects and spend
• Complete basic financial modeling
• Assist in the year end audit

(5%) Other Duties/Projects Assigned

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or closely related and applicable field
• Two (2) years accounting experience
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Excel

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software
