Accountant I

Full Time, Mumbai, India

The Accountant I will prepare monthly journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, and conduct necessary account analysis and research.  This role will also prepare balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries to record inter-company charges, depreciation and amortization, and bills / reconciles inter-company accounts monthly.

As an Accountant I, you will

• Assist with the billing process
• Support the Accounting department's budget targets
• Help the Manager and Supervisors by identifying areas to increase EBITDA
• Ensure accurate journal entries are processed monthly 
• Complete timely, clear, and accurate account reconciliations
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process (FA and Payroll, etc.)

About you

• You have prior experience in the travel industry
• Skills with Amadeus GDS
• Previous experience in general accounting
• Accounting under IFRS (International Accounting Standards) and GAAP
• Proficiency with ERPs, word processing, and spreadsheets (MS Excel) required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
