Profile Requirements:
- Min 5-7 years Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant supporting US entities
- CPA qualification required
- 9 to 5pm East Coast Time (USA)
- Exposure to US sales tax (multi-state preferred)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience managing QuickBooks-based finance functions
- Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills
- Proven experience in people management, team leadership, and overseeing finance/accounting operations
Core responsibilities:
- Oversee all US financial operations and controls
- Prepare and review monthly US GAAP-aligned management accounts
- Own P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
- Ensure integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules
- Coordinate US tax compliance, including sales tax and filings
- Liaise with US CPAs, tax advisors, and auditors
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory and regulatory reporting
- Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Monitor performance vs budget and analyse variances
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
- Own and optimise QuickBooks Online and finance workflows
- Design scalable finance processes and internal controls
- Improve reporting efficiency and accuracy
