Role Scope & Purpose:

The Account Executive is responsible for managing the full sales cycle - from discovery and qualification through to proposal, negotiation, and close. This role owns a defined book of prospective accounts and is accountable for converting qualified pipeline into revenue. The AE partners closely with SDRs/BDRs for pipeline generation and with Customer Success for seamless client handoffs, ensuring a consultative and value-driven sales experience throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for assigned prospects from initial discovery through contract execution.
  • Conduct compelling discovery calls and product/service demonstrations tailored to prospect needs.
  • Develop and present customized proposals and pricing packages.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue quotas.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records and forecasts in the CRM.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at target accounts.
  • Collaborate with SDR/BDR team on outbound strategies and account prioritization.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and client retention.
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on prospect conversations and market insights.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge and competitive positioning.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience with a proven record of closing deals and meeting quota.
  • Strong consultative selling and discovery skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and accurately forecasting revenue.
  • Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously across different stages of the sales cycle.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
  • Strong English proficiency (B2-C1)

Nice to have 

  • Experience selling B2B services, SaaS, or agency solutions.
  • Familiarity with formal sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN, or similar).
  • Experience using sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Apollo, Salesloft, or similar).
  • Track record of exceeding quota in a competitive sales environment.
  • Experience collaborating with Revenue Ops for pipeline analytics and process improvements.
  • Background in e-commerce, digital marketing, or tech-enabled services.
