29 - Odoo Reporting & Dashboarding Specialist

Our client runs most of their operations through Odoo but lacks a reliable reporting layer on top of it. We're looking for a BI-focused Odoo specialist who can turn that raw operational data into clear, dependable dashboards - starting with weekly timesheet reporting and monthly financial reporting. This is a reporting and business intelligence need inside Odoo, not general Odoo implementation work, so the ideal candidate is someone who thinks in terms of data models and reporting logic rather than configuration and setup. They should also document by default, not as an afterthought, and be comfortable spanning both financial and operational data within the same platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build financial reporting (monthly) and timesheet reporting (weekly) dashboards in Odoo
• Work across Accounting, Timesheets, Projects, and Field Service data to pull consistent, accurate reports
• Document the reporting setup clearly: how it works, how to maintain it, how to extend it
• Write a short handover plan and lightweight internal tooling so the client can eventually run this independently

Required Skills and Experience

• Solid hands-on Odoo experience specifically in reporting and business intelligence (Odoo Studio, custom reports, native reporting tools) - general Odoo implementation experience alone is not a fit
• Comfortable spanning financial and operational data within the same platform
• Strong, unprompted documentation habits
• Nice to have: familiarity with Odoo's Spreadsheet & Dashboards app and native pivot/graph reporting
• Nice to have: experience with external BI tools such as Power BI, Metabase, or Superset
• Nice to have: experience building lightweight automations or AI-assisted tooling on top of Odoo
• Nice to have: background in engineering or manufacturing environments (Inventory, Manufacturing modules)
