The coordinator will evaluate maternal mortality cases to identify systemic biases and social determinants of health. They are also responsible for developing interview protocols, training analysts, and synthesizing clinical findings into executive reports.

The Surveillance Epidemiologist will serve as a subject matter expert on key respiratory diseases, managing, analyzing, and summarizing disease surveillance data from various sources and systems. This role also involves responding to public inquiries, assisting county health departments with investigations, and coordinating laboratory testing and reporting to the CDC.
