The Regional Foster Coordinator supports the engagement, development, and retention of foster volunteers to ensure successful program operations. This includes coaching local teams, managing program data, and conducting regional needs assessments to improve the foster experience.

Coordinate a centralized animal intake system using the Vulnerability Spectrum to prioritize and triage animals. Manage animal flow, monitor inventory data, and collaborate with internal teams to reduce length of stay for animals in care.

The Regional Foster Coordinator supports the engagement, development, and retention of foster volunteers to ensure successful program operations within the assigned region. This includes coordinating with local teams, managing foster data, and implementing recruitment and recognition strategies.

The role involves providing exceptional customer service and accurate information via inbound and outbound calls, handling general inquiries, entering animal cruelty complaints, and transferring calls within the BC SPCA. This position serves as the first contact in the investigation process, taking reports and dispatching Animal Protection Officers across the province.
