Design and build core identity, authentication, and authorization infrastructure to enable autonomous agents to operate at global scale. Develop distributed services, SDKs, and APIs that provide real-time, contextual guardrails for agentic workflows.

Build core systems and infrastructure for a control plane for agents, including identity services, enforcement paths, and developer platforms. Develop Kubernetes operators and CI/CD automation to ensure deterministic guarantees for delivery, consistency, and availability.

Design and build operational data systems, including pipelines, storage layers, and APIs for real-time enforcement and customer insights. Balance streaming and batch paradigms to support both transactional identity services and analytical security posture requirements.

The role involves building identity and access infrastructure for agent-native systems, focusing on creating real-time, in-band, contextual guardrails for autonomous workflows. Responsibilities include shipping, inventing, and iterating on technology at the frontier of agent-native systems to ensure security and scalability.

The engineer will build and own the Keycard Agent SDK, which provides trust, governance, and telemetry for AI agents in production across multiple languages and frameworks. This involves maintaining compatibility with upstream frameworks, contributing to open protocols, and advocating for developer needs while working closely with founders and systems engineers.
