The Staff Attorney will provide full-scope legal representation to low-income individuals seeking record clearing services in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. Responsibilities include conducting community outreach, managing an active caseload, and coordinating with public defenders and project partners.

The Staff Attorney provides comprehensive legal services to eligible clients in priority areas, including advice, negotiation, litigation, and administrative advocacy, while also reviewing and supervising the work product of support staff. They are expected to undertake statewide impact activity, develop specialized knowledge in poverty law, and coordinate advocacy efforts with various external groups.
