Manage a caseload of EDD lien files by reviewing medical and payment records to determine validity and negotiate settlements. Communicate with EDD representatives, attorneys, and adjusters to resolve liens while maintaining detailed case notes and meeting billable hour requirements.
The Legal Assistant will perform complex secretarial and legal tasks, including transcribing dictation, preparing legal documents, and maintaining case files. They are also responsible for managing billing, operating office equipment, and coordinating with attorneys to ensure efficient case progression.
