SAIC is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented XBRL Subject Matter Expert to join our team and begin an exciting and challenging career.

This position is contingent upon award of the contract and person clearing Public trust

 Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an active member of the software development team participating in daily stand-ups.
  • Architect metadata driven XBRL solutions to support customer requirements.
  • Develop specifications for XBRL taxonomies and instance documents.
  • Develop XBRL taxonomies and instance documents using XBRL 2.1 specification.
  • Provide support, as needed, for solutions deployed to production.
  • Interface with the stakeholders for project requirements.
  • Collaborate, coordinate with colleagues on various solutions and problems.
  • Document software designs, which may include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, software module descriptions, etc.
  • Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include Visual Studio, Azure Devops and GIT.


Required Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 9 years’ XBRL experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust that requires US citizenship.
  • XBRL Taxonomy design and development.
  • Solid experience with XML parsing tools.
  • Solid experience with XML DOM and other approaches to handling XML data.
  • Experience with .Net Core, Angular and Razor.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP API development.
  • Experience with XML and jSON.
  • Experience with Azure Services.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server database and SQL.
  • Ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and a delivery mindset.
  • Should participate in Design/Code and System review using agile development process.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills and able to work in a team which consists developers with different skillsets.
