About the Client
Our client is a Series A, Silicon Valley-based Gen AI startup with 200+ employees globally, building one of the fastest-growing AI creative platforms, used by millions to create images, videos, stories, ads, and other creative work with AI. They move fast, test constantly, and scale what works.

The Role
Our client is looking for someone to turn X into one of their biggest organic growth and distribution channels. This isn't a role for scheduling posts and replying to comments on a calendar. You'll own the channel end-to-end: growing the audience, building relationships with AI creators and influential accounts, and turning every product launch into a distribution moment, not just an announcement post.

What You'll Do

• Own follower growth, reach, impressions, engagement, and traffic from X

• Track conversations across AI, video, design, filmmaking, and creator X, and turn relevant moments into posts quickly

• Reply and engage where the brand has something useful or funny to add, without sounding like an ad

• Build relationships with AI creators, researchers, filmmakers, designers, and other influential accounts

• Help build a recognizable, non-corporate voice: product launches, creator work, memes, hot takes, threads, behind-the-scenes moments

• Work with product and marketing to turn every launch into an ongoing distribution moment, not a single post

• Constantly test hooks, formats, posting times, threads, and new content ideas

• Track performance data (growth, engagement, signups from X, top formats) and use it to make fast decisions, not to build lengthy reports

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience managing an X (Twitter) account professionally, brand, creator, or founder account

• Genuinely lives on X and understands how the platform actually works

• Follows AI closely and knows which accounts and conversations matter without being told

• Understands memes and internet culture, and can write a strong post quickly

• Can recognize a strong hook and understands why some posts spread and others don't

• Builder mentality: doesn't wait to be assigned posts, constantly generates ideas, and moves quickly

• Comfortable reading performance data and adjusting strategy on the fly

Bonus Points

• Has grown an X account from scratch, ideally from thousands to hundreds of thousands of followers

• Can show posts or campaigns that reached large audiences organically

• Experience growing accounts in AI, tech, creator tools, or consumer products

• Existing relationships with AI creators or accounts on X

• Experience with founder-led social content

• Can create memes, graphics, GIFs, or short videos personally

• Understands social listening and competitive intelligence

• Uses AI and automation tools heavily in personal workflow
