About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join our People and Wellbeing team in a range of exciting Workplace Relations opportunities, including Senior Workplace Relations Consultant, Workplace Relations Specialist, and a dedicated Senior Workplace Relations Consultant – Enterprise Bargaining role.
These roles come at a pivotal time, following a significant People and Wellbeing transformation, and offer the opportunity to contribute to a contemporary, forward-looking workplace relations function. Opportunities are available on a full-time or part-time basis, across both fixed-term (including parental leave cover) and ongoing appointments. Flexible working arrangements are supported for 12-month fixed term appointments, with the opportunity to work remotely across the East coast of Australia, alongside Tasmanian-based options.
In these roles, you will provide expert advice across a broad range of workplace and industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, enterprise agreements, and governance frameworks. You will support leaders and stakeholders with complex case management, contribute to capability uplift across the function, and act as a trusted advisor in a dynamic environment.
The Senior Workplace Relations Consultant – Enterprise Bargaining will play a lead role in coordinating and delivering the University’s enterprise bargaining program end-to-end, including preparation, strategy development, negotiations, and implementation of the Staff Agreement.
Across all roles, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, Legal Services, unions, and employee representatives, while supporting a proactive, people-centred approach to workplace relations.

Salary details
Appointment to these roles will be at HEO 8 or an HEO 10 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $162,281 comprising base salary within the range of $114,383 to $139,557 plus 17% superannuation.
