Weekend Intake Coordinator – Full-Time, Remote

Enterhealth provides addiction and mental health treatment through our residential Ranch in Van Alstyne, Texas, and outpatient services in Dallas. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Weekend Intake Coordinator to support prospective clients and their families during weekend hours.

This full-time, remote position serves as an important first point of contact for people exploring treatment. The ideal candidate communicates with warmth, gathers information accurately, and follows through to help coordinate a smooth admissions process.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incoming calls and inquiries from prospective clients, families, and referral sources.

• Explain Enterhealth's programs, services, and admissions process.

• Gather and document intake information accurately and confidentially.

• Coordinate with clinical and nursing staff regarding potential admissions and next steps.

• Follow up on inquiries and pending admissions.

• Communicate admissions updates and provide a thorough handoff to the weekday team.

• Recognize urgent concerns and follow established escalation procedures.

• Maintain professional, compassionate communication during sensitive conversations.

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health intake, admissions, healthcare coordination, or a related field preferred.

• Strong telephone, customer service, and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate calmly and respectfully with individuals and families experiencing stress.

• Attention to detail and comfort using electronic records and communication systems.

• Ability to work independently while staying responsive to the team.

• Reliable internet access and a private workspace that supports confidential conversations.

• Availability for the required weekend coverage schedule.

Schedule and Work Arrangement

This is a full-time, remote position with weekend coverage responsibilities from Friday at 5:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:30 a.m. Specific working hours, overnight/on-call expectations, and response requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
