You will own the end-to-end design of the web application, translating complex procurement workflows into intuitive user interfaces. You will also partner with product and engineering teams to design AI-native interactions and maintain the company's design system.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Product Designer, Web to own the end-to-end design of Axya's web application experience — from early concept and interaction design through to polished, production-ready UI. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to translate complex procurement workflows into interfaces that feel simple, fast, and trustworthy for enterprise buyers. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role: your work will directly shape how procurement teams at some of the largest manufacturers in the world interact with AI every day.
Key Responsibilities
Own the design of new features and workflows across Axya's web platform, from discovery through to shipped UI.
Translate ambiguous, complex procurement and supply-chain workflows into clear, intuitive user experiences.
Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to scope, prototype, and iterate quickly within sprint cycles.
Conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing with enterprise procurement stakeholders and internal champions.
Maintain and evolve Axya's design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product.
Design for AI-native interactions — helping users build trust in AI-driven recommendations, automations, and copilots.
Present design rationale and trade-offs clearly to cross-functional stakeholders, including the executive team.
Contribute to a strong product design culture as one of the team's early design hires.
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of product design experience, ideally on complex B2B or enterprise SaaS platforms.
A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership: research, flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI.
Fluency in modern design tooling (Figma required).
Experience designing and maintaining scalable design systems.
Comfort working with ambiguity and translating complex, technical, or industry-specific workflows into simple UX.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate design decisions to non-designers.
A collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
Nice to Have
Experience designing for procurement, supply chain, ERP, or other operations-heavy enterprise software.
Experience designing AI-powered or copilot-style product experiences.
Front-end fluency (HTML/CSS, basic React) to collaborate more closely with engineering.
