Innovexis is seeking a Web Development Intern to join our Information Technology team in Bengaluru. This internship is a remote, internship-type opportunity that offers hands-on experience building real-world web applications alongside experienced engineers.

As a Web Development Intern at Innovexis, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of modern web solutions that support our clients and internal platforms. You will work closely with developers, designers, and project leads to translate ideas into functional, responsive, and user-friendly websites and applications.

This role is ideal for a motivated learner eager to grow in the IT industry and gain practical exposure to front-end and back-end web development. The position offers a yearly salary within our internship compensation structure and the flexibility of remote work from Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining responsive websites and web applications
• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code under the guidance of senior developers
• Collaborate with designers to implement user interfaces and improve user experience
• Support front-end and back-end development tasks based on project requirements
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality
• Debug and troubleshoot basic issues across web applications
• Help optimize web pages for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Document development work and maintain accurate project records
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas during planning and stand-up sessions
• Stay updated with current web development tools, trends, and best practices

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with at least one front-end framework or library such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Understanding of fundamental web development concepts and responsive design
• Exposure to version control tools such as Git
• Basic understanding of back-end technologies and databases is preferred
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage time and complete tasks in a remote work environment
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
