Employment Type: Contractor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Web Developer & GoHighLevel (GHL) Build Specialist to join our team on a part-time contract basis.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building and optimizing technical marketing systems. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining client-facing digital assets, including websites, funnels, automations, CRM workflows, conversion tracking, and paid advertising campaigns.

Working closely with our leadership team, you will receive detailed project briefs and be responsible for delivering high-quality builds within agreed timelines. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to work independently.


Key Responsibilities

GoHighLevel (GHL) Development & Automation

  • Build and maintain GHL pipelines, workflows, automations, and trigger logic.
  • Configure lead nurturing sequences, contact tagging, attribution, and CRM processes.
  • Test and validate all automations before deployment.
  • Conduct weekly audits of pipelines and automation health.

Funnel & Lead Capture Builds

  • Build and optimize lead generation funnels, quizzes, and forms.
  • Ensure seamless integration between forms, CRM pipelines, tags, and automation workflows.
  • Perform testing and quality assurance before launch.

Website Development

  • Build responsive websites using GHL Sites, WordPress, or Webflow based on project requirements.
  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, functional, and aligned with project briefs.
  • Implement updates, enhancements, and troubleshooting as required.

Tracking & Analytics

  • Install and configure Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Set up and verify conversion tracking for Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure data accuracy before campaign launch.

Paid Advertising Support

  • Build and configure Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns from approved briefs.
  • Upload creative assets and implement targeting requirements.
  • Monitor campaign performance and proactively flag issues or opportunities for improvement.

Google Business Profiles

  • Create, verify, and optimize Google Business Profiles.
  • Maintain accurate business information and ensure successful verification.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Follow documented processes and project briefs accurately.
  • Submit draft builds and previews for internal review before client presentation.
  • Maintain organized files, assets, and project documentation.


What This Role Does Not Include

To ensure focus and specialization, this role does not include:

  • Content writing or copywriting
  • Social media management
  • Client acquisition or sales activities
  • Marketing strategy development
  • Budget management for advertising campaigns
  • Pricing or scope discussions with clients

Any client requests related to scope, pricing, or strategic recommendations should be escalated to the relevant team lead.


Required Skills & Experience

GoHighLevel (GHL)

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Pipelines and CRM management
    • Automation workflows and trigger logic
    • Funnels and forms
    • Contact tagging and segmentation
    • GHL Sites Builder

Candidates should be able to explain real projects they have built within GHL and the business outcomes those systems supported.

Website Development

  • Experience building websites using:
    • GHL Sites
    • WordPress
    • Webflow (preferred)

A portfolio of live websites is required.

Google Tag Manager (GTM)

  • Experience installing GTM and configuring conversion tracking.
  • Ability to troubleshoot tracking and attribution issues.

Meta Ads Manager

  • Experience setting up and managing advertising campaigns.
  • Understanding of campaign structures, targeting, and performance monitoring.

Google Ads

  • Experience creating and managing Google Ads campaigns.
  • Ability to identify and escalate performance concerns.
