Waterproofing Estimator / Take-Off Specialist
(Permanent AU Dayshift, Remote/WFH Philippines)
VA Rate: $10-$12AUD/hr (Negotiable)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Take-Off Specialist to provide offshore estimating support to our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the waterproofing and/or construction industry, with strong technical skills in preparing detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and construction drawings.
This role will focus primarily on completing approximately 90% of the required take-off work, allowing our Senior Estimator to focus on final review, pricing, rate sheet development, and detailed assessment of drawings. The successful candidate will play an important role in improving estimating efficiency, accuracy, and overall quoting capacity.
Key Responsibilities
• Review architectural, structural, section, elevation, and construction drawings to identify relevant waterproofing requirements.
• Complete detailed and accurate quantity take-offs for waterproofing and related
construction works.
• Prepare approximately 90% complete take-offs for review and finalisation by the Senior Estimator.
• Clearly identify and measure relevant areas, quantities, dimensions, and scope items from drawings.
• Create editable Bluebeam Revu markups that can be reviewed and edited by the internal estimating team.
• Use Bluebeam Revu to efficiently measure, mark up, and document take-off quantities.
• Interpret plans, elevations, sections, details, specifications, and other project
documentation.
• Identify potential scope gaps, discrepancies, exclusions, and items requiring clarification.
• Provide clear notes and markups to support the Senior Estimator's final review and pricing process.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Estimator and other team members to ensure take-offs are accurate, consistent, and aligned with project requirements.
• Develop an understanding of the company's waterproofing systems, processes, and
estimating methodology.
• Continuously improve the accuracy and efficiency of take-off processes based on feedback from the internal team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Non-negos:
- Proven experience as an Estimator, Quantity Take-Off Specialist, or similar role within the construction industry.
- Previous experience in waterproofing, building envelope, roofing, construction, or a closely related trade is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings.
- Demonstrated experience completing construction quantity take-offs.
- Advanced or strong working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, including measurement tools and creating editable markups.

Preferred Experience
- Experience estimating or completing take-offs specifically for waterproofing projects.
- Familiarity with waterproofing systems, membranes, coatings, sealants, or related products.
- Experience working with Australian construction projects and drawings.
- Experience supporting Australian-based builders, contractors, or construction companies.
- Experience using Bluebeam Revu for construction estimating and quantity take-offs.
