VP of Product (m/f/d)

Your mission

PTV Logistics is undergoing a strategic transformation — migrating from a classic on-premise portfolio to a cloud-native, subscription-based platform. As VP of Product, you will lead this shift from feature output to measurable business outcomes, ensuring every product decision drives ARR growth, NRR improvement, and customer retention. If you are a commercially fluent product leader with a bias for execution and the courage to make difficult prioritization calls, we want to hear from you:
 

• Team Development & Coaching: You lead and actively coach a team of Product Managers — spending significant time with direct reports to assess strengths, build coaching plans, and raise the bar from legacy product owner roles to genuine PM excellence
• North Star Execution: You translate PTV's North Star vision into an outcome-based roadmap, grounding every prioritization decision in ARR, NRR, GRR, and customer health data rather than feature lists
• Transition Strategy: You own PTV's product strategy for the migration from Classic/Core to NextGen cloud-native solutions (OptiFlow, PTV Developer, Map&Guide), including sequencing the migration path, managing price erosion on legacy contracts, and designing subscription mechanics that grow NRR
• Stakeholder Partnership: You drive cross-functional alignment with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Legal — shifting from order-taker dynamics to joint problem-solving that directly supports revenue and retention goals
• Team Topology & Innovation Partnership: Define the structure and scope of product teams to maximise autonomy and minimise cross-team dependencies, while partnering with the CPTO and Chief Innovation Officer to identify AI-enabled opportunities — integrating modern AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, and evaluation
• Exit Readiness: You ensure the product organization's metrics, narratives, and reference customer base are compelling to lenders and investors — with direct responsibility for exit readiness of the product portfolio

Your profile

Your experience and mindset reflect a strong track record in product leadership within B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments:
 

• Experience: You bring proven execution experience delivering technology products at scale, including navigating the cultural and commercial complexity of a legacy-to-SaaS transition
• Communication skills: You are commercially fluent — comfortable in CFO-level conversations about product funding, ARR/NRR mechanics, and the investment trade-offs between legacy maintenance and NextGen growth
• Technological curiosity: You have hands-on technological curiosity, particularly around cloud-native architecture, developer APIs, and AI/ML, and can hold substantive conversations with engineering leadership
• Corporate courage: You demonstrate corporate courage: the willingness to make difficult deprioritization calls — including cutting legacy capabilities under commercial pressure — in service of the long-term product strategy
• Enterprise dynamics: You are fluent in B2B enterprise dynamics, including complex sales cycles, multi-stakeholder contract negotiations, and the relationship-heavy realities of logistics and transport customers
• Leadership: You are an inspiring people leader who attracts and develops missionary product talent, with a genuine commitment to coaching PMs toward senior product leadership
