Volunteer role: Humanist Heritage Outreach Volunteer

Humanist Heritage tells the story of the people, places, and ideas behind the humanist tradition in the UK. It covers pioneering thinkers and reformers, as well as the local groups, campaigners, and ordinary people who helped shape the society we live in today. Much of this history is little known, even among people with a keen interest in the past.

We're looking for a volunteer to help us change that. You'll get in touch with local history societies, heritage groups, and other organisations who we think would be interested in this part of our shared history. You'll let them know that Humanist Heritage exists and invite them to share it with their members. It's a chance to help bring overlooked stories to new audiences, and it's work you can do from home at a time that suits you.

Whatever your background, or prior experiences, if you’re passionate about humanist heritage, we’d love to hear from you.

This allows you to receive mailings from the organisation, to further your understanding of the work Humanists UK does, and to inform your own volunteering practice. There is no cost to you for this registration.
