Our Virtual SUD IOP Clinicians facilitate virtual evening group therapy sessions and individual therapy sessions within our SUD IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program). The role requires proven experience running IOP groups and the ability to foster a safe, engaging and supportive online therapeutic environment.  


You will:

  • Lead structured, process-oriented virtual group and individual therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to virtual care.
  • Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care when necessary.
  • Monitor client progress and maintain thorough, timely & compliant documentation.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and treatment team meetings.
  • Educate clients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders and available resources to support sustained recovery and overall health.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, professional licensing and telehealth regulations.
  • Stay current with best practices and ongoing professional development in SUD treatment and telehealth.
  • Maintain high standards of excellence in an ethical and trauma-informed setting. 


Required Qualifications


  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution required.
  • Current state licensure or licensure eligibility (e.g., LCAS, LCAS-A)
  • At least one year’s training and/or clinical experience providing individual, group, and family therapy in a behavioral health, mental health, or substance use disorder treatment setting.
  • Proven experience facilitating IOP group therapy sessions.
  • Experience with treatment planning, clinical documentation, crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Prior work in residential, outpatient, or multidisciplinary treatment environments preferred.
  • First Aid/ CPR Certification
  • Crisis Intervention Certification
