Virtual Immigration Paralegal

Equivity is seeking an experienced Part-Time Virtual Employment-Based Immigration Paralegal to support attorneys handling a variety of employment-based immigration matters. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and enjoys partnering closely with attorneys and clients.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and file employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including nonimmigrant and immigrant matters.

• Support cases involving H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-2, PERM Labor Certification, I-140, and Adjustment of Status (I-485).

• Draft attorney support letters, RFEs, NOIDs, declarations, and assemble supporting evidence.

• Communicate with attorneys, employers, clients, USCIS, the Department of Labor, consulates, and other agencies.

• Track filing deadlines, visa expirations, priority dates, and case milestones.

• Maintain organized electronic case files using immigration software such as INSZoom, LawLogix, Docketwise, Clio, or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

• 3+ years of recent employment-based immigration paralegal experience.

• Experience with two or more employment-based visa categories or permanent residence processes listed above.

• Strong knowledge of USCIS and Department of Labor procedures.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

• Professional home office with reliable high-speed internet.
