Contract Type: Full-Time
Budget: $1,300-$1,700 per month

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven VIP Flight Specialist to manage air travel on behalf of one of our US partners, a specialized travel management company supporting corporate, entertainment, film and TV production, music touring, and VIP clients worldwide.

This role is essential in making sure travelers reach the right place at the right time, often on demanding and fast-changing schedules. The VIP Flight Specialist will handle the full reservation lifecycle, from booking and ticketing complex international itineraries to managing exchanges, reissues, refunds, and last-minute changes, while working closely with a collaborative team based in Serbia and the United States.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on GDS experience, ideally in Sabre, and a deep understanding of air ticketing and fare rules. We are looking for someone who is more than an order taker: a person who can independently evaluate flight options, anticipate problems, communicate clearly, and take ownership of a reservation from initial request through completion. Experience with entertainment, production, or VIP clients is a major plus but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reservations & Ticketing

• Book, ticket, exchange, reissue, and refund domestic and international air reservations
• Build and manage complex itineraries, including multi-city and international travel
• Research and recommend the best routing, fare, and ticketing options
• Manage seat assignments and other flight-related traveler requirements

2. Booking Management & Problem Solving

• Handle schedule changes, cancellations, and last-minute traveler requests
• Monitor active bookings and proactively resolve issues
• Anticipate potential disruptions and present alternatives before they become problems
• Deliver fast, accurate service in a high-touch travel environment

3. Documentation & Team Communication

• Accurately document all reservations and changes
• Maintain clear communication with the broader travel team
• Collaborate with team members in Serbia and the United States

4. Other Duties as Assigned

• Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs, with opportunities to grow into more advanced roles over time

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on GDS experience (Sabre or Amadeus)
• Strong knowledge of air ticketing, fares, exchanges, refunds, and reissues
• Proven experience booking international and complex multi-city itineraries
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Strong written and spoken English
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly
• Reliable, responsive, and highly service-oriented

Desired (but not required) Skills & Qualifications:

• Sabre experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience supporting corporate travel, entertainment, film/TV production, music touring, VIP, or other high-touch clients
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
