Scope of Position:
The primary objective of the Videographer/Photographer at Superpath is to concept, capture, and produce high-quality video & photo content that drives engagement, strengthens brand storytelling, and converts viewers into qualified leads through modern digital marketing methods. This role supports both Superpath’s clients and its internal marketing initiatives, making it a shared creative resource across the organization. The Videographer/Photographer is responsible for shooting professional-grade video & photo; traveling for on-site productions; developing strategic, conversion-focused concepts; and editing assets for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, internal needs, and paid media campaigns.
An effective Videographer/Photographer manages the full production lifecycle—from sale, pre-production planning and scheduling to storyboarding through filming/capturing, editing, post-production, iterating, optimization, and delivery. They must understand audience behavior and marketing objectives, ensuring that each piece of content aligns with strategy while maximizing impact across platforms. This role requires expertise in both short-form and long-form content designed to convert viewers into leads.
In addition, the Videographer/Photographer collaborates with the Head of Creative, Strategy, and Client Success teams to ideate new video/photo concepts and identify opportunities to upsell clients into expanded video/photo packages that enhance client performance and revenue growth.
The Videographer/Photographer must utilize their own equipment on shoots but will be provided with company resources such as a laptop, tools, and rental support (as needed). This role collaborates closely with Creative leadership, Project Management, Marketing, and client-facing teams to produce compelling content that supports business goals.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Marketing, Project Managers, Customer Success, Sales, Strategy, and the Head of Creative to understand business requirements, brand goals, and production timelines for client needs.
- Travel & travel coordination as needed for client shoots, internal marketing productions, and company/client events. Including booking hotels, flights, rentals, and scheduling travel details within the defined budget.
- Shoot high-quality video/photo content using personal professional equipment for a wide range of applications and usage, including headshots, websites, social media, paid media channels, event recaps, YouTube, etc.
- Guides clients & internal team members through on-camera delivery, scene setup, and messaging.
- Edit, apply motion effects, animations, color-grade, and export polished video/photo deliverables optimized for various platforms (social media, websites, email campaigns, paid advertising, short and long-form educational content).
- Support quick edit video creative for paid media and social campaigns utilizing stock, or client provided assets and footage when full video shoots aren’t applicable.
- Research, explore, test, and utilize AI resources and channels for supporting video deliverables and output when applicable.
- Conceptualize and develop strategic video ideas that support our client & internal and external marketing objectives and effectively communicate key messages around their/our brand and goals.
- Support pricing, scoping, and development of a rate sheet for client deliverables and video products, so clear budgets can be defined.
- Drive the full video/photo lifecycle. From concepting, ideation, storyboarding, shot lists, and pre-production plans that ensure efficient and successful shoots and high converting final assets.
- Management of all personal photo, video, and audio equipment required for successful high quality, professional shoots. From maintenance, charging, setup, travel preparations, and rentals.
- Maintain mastery of short-form content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, paid social ads) designed to capture attention and drive conversions, as well as meet current social media best practices, safe zones, and caption requirements.
- Produce long-form video assets including interviews, testimonials, case studies, webinars, event coverage, and brand stories.
- Stay current with evolving platform trends, editing styles, video formats, and best practices to ensure content remains modern and competitive.
- Participate in client interactions as needed, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to present concepts or revisions in a clear, strategic way.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve internal video/photo processes, workflows, and creative practices.
- Manage media organization, storage workflows, and file delivery to ensure content is easily accessible and well-archived.
- Partner with design, copywriting, and marketing teams to enhance video performance with graphics, captions, and conversion-optimized elements.
Required Skills/Abilities
- 5+ years of professional video, photo, production, and editing experience.
- Owns their own library of professional equipment necessary for shoot execution.
- Expertise in running professional video & photo equipment operations (cameras, lighting, audio gear, stabilizers, backdrops etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable editing software.
- Intermediate proficiency in motion graphics/animation application and software tools like Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and photoshop
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple high value projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and best practices for each.
- Ability to produce both short-form and long-form video/photo content with a strong conversion and storytelling focus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on shoots and adapt to changing environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, high-quality content.
- Ability to think strategically about video’s role in marketing funnels, conversion paths, and audience engagement.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Willingness to travel and coordinate travel as required for shoots.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) in Film Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; five+ years of experience; or a combination of education and professional experience required.
