Role Overview:

We are looking for a young and talented video editor to ramp up the video content for our in-house brands: enterprisemonkey.com.au, dumbmonkey.ai, and aamirqutub.com. You'll live in short-form. Reels, shorts, snippets - the fast, scrappy, trend-driven stuff that makes a brand worth following. We want someone who already plays with the new AI video tools and wants to push them further: auto-captioning, AI b-roll, voice and avatar tools, whatever's landing this month. You'll know traditional editing too - clean cuts, timing, sound - but the day-to-day here is social-first and experiment-heavy. The senior editor owns the long-form, polished work. You own speed, volume, and trying things nobody on the team has tried yet.

• Cut long podcasts, talks, and interviews into reels and shorts for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  

• Edit short-form social videos fast - hook in the first second, captions, pacing, music.
  

• Test AI video tools (generation, auto-captions, b-roll, voice, avatars) and bring back what actually works.
  

• Jump on trends and audio formats while they're still trending, not after.
  

• Handle the basics cleanly: audio, simple colour, sound levels.
  

• Keep each brand's style straight - Enterprise Monkey, Dumb Monkey, and Aamir's personal channels each look and sound different.
  

• Support the senior editor on bigger projects when needed.
  

• Hit turnaround targets without letting quality slip.
  

Requirements

• Some editing experience with a reel or portfolio to show (personal, freelance, or course projects count).
  

• Working knowledge of at least one editor - Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or CapCut.
  

• A real interest in AI video tools and a habit of testing new ones.
  

• You understand what makes a short-form video work - hook, pace, captions, retention.
  

• Self-starting and fast. Comfortable being handed a rough idea and running with it.
  

• Final-year students and recent graduates welcome.
  

Good to Have

• Basic motion graphics or graphic design.
  

• Hands-on with AI tools like Runway, Pika, HeyGen, Higgsfield, or ElevenLabs.
  

• You post your own content and understand how the platforms reward (or bury) it.
  

• Built or experimented with AI avatars.
