Video Editor & Content Repurposing Specialist

This is a remote position.

Location: Byford, Australia

Primary responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, long-form YouTube videos.
  
• Edit podcast recordings into publication-ready videos.
  
• Repurpose long-form videos into short-form clips of 59 seconds or less for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other relevant platforms.
  
• Identify compelling podcast highlights and key insights that can be used as promotional clips to encourage viewers to watch the full episode.
  
• Create thumbnails for YouTube videos.
  
• Organise project files, follow your preferred editing style, incorporate feedback, and deliver the agreed outputs within the project timeline.
  

Required skills and tools

• Proven experience in long-form video editing and podcast editing.
  
• Experience creating short-form promotional clips from longer recordings.
  
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut.
  
• Basic thumbnail creation skills.
  
• Good understanding of video pacing, transitions, audio quality, and visual storytelling.
  
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and meet agreed deadlines.
  

Experience working with content creators, podcasters, coaches, or personal brands would be an advantage. 

Working Arrangement: On-demand / project-based;

Package Provided:

• Per on-demand video editing package.
  
• Proposed inclusions: 1 full podcast edit, 1 full YouTube video edit, 2–3 short promotional clips, and thumbnail creation.
  
• Approximate turnaround: 5 days, subject to final scope and confirmation.
