Profile Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience, ideally working across YouTube and social media platforms.
- Proven experience creating engaging digital content for audiences across multiple channels.
- Strong proficiency with video editing software such as Riverside, Youtube, Youtube Studio, Canva or similar tools.
- Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, audio editing, colour correction, and captioning workflows.
- Ability to understand audience behaviour and create edits that improve engagement, retention, and watch time.
- Prior experience working within the healthcare, medical, wellness, or professional services industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of social media content formats, trends, algorithms, and platform-specific requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Core responsibilities:
- Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
- Transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with brand guidelines and audience expectations.
- Create compelling edits including pacing, storytelling, transitions, motion graphics, captions, subtitles, and visual enhancements.
- Optimise video content for different platforms, ensuring correct formats, aspect ratios, thumbnails, hooks, and retention-focused edits.
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and healthcare professionals to develop effective video concepts and narratives.
- Manage the end-to-end video editing process, from reviewing footage through to final delivery and revisions.
- Maintain consistency in brand tone, messaging, and visual style across all video content.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, editing techniques, and platform best practices to improve content performance.
