Estimated hiring range: $172,200 – $232,400

 

The Job

 

The Vice President, Marketing and Digital Experience will lead the strategic direction and implementation of omnichannel marketing strategies to enhance donor engagement and optimize performance. This role involves providing strategic leadership to the digital marketing team, overseeing online platform enhancements, driving revenue growth through effective client marketing initiatives, and leading User Experience (UX/UI) product design to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new market segmentation and strategic direction of the brand, transitioning from channel focus to omnichannel focus. Leverage donor insights to grow the donor file, improve retention, and optimize marketing performance, ultimately ensuring a delightful and consistent brand experience throughout the entire donor journey.
  • Provide strategic and operational direction for digital marketing team members, including developing governance frameworks and advising on strategic online system requirements and integrations.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing all facets of the digital marketing function, including performance marketing across social media, paid search, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Oversee the implementation of new online platform capabilities and improvements to existing systems, ensuring effective tracking and oversight of budget expenditures and forecasting.
  • Lead donor engagement marketing from acquisition through retention and brand campaigns across multiple channels, growing revenue and leading omnichannel retention marketing.
  • Identify and implement measures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations within Business to Consumer (B2C) marketing and across other teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate staff members to achieve goals, including hiring, training, evaluating, and recommending salary increases and promotions.​
  • Lead, inspire, and develop talent for this function and partner in senior level talent program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or equivalent work experience (eight years). Master's degree strongly preferred. 
  • In addition to education or education equivalent, requires at least ten years of progressive marketing management experience including direct oversight of digital marketing channels.
  • Strong expertise in digital retailing/consumer eCommerce, including web analytics, personalization, optimization, SEO and digital merchandising.
  • Extensive experience leading teams in digital management, optimization and enhancement.
  • Strong experience leading an online sales channel and/or development program in a B2C environment.
  • Experience as a Product Owner/Manager.
  • Experience outsourcing / engaging external service delivery providers, contract management.
  • Skilled in learning quickly and adapting to a dynamic environment, solving problems and ensuring stakeholders are part of the solution.
  • Strong expertise in digital retailing/consumer eCommerce, including web analytics, personalization, optimization, SEO and digital merchandising. 

 

Salary & Benefits

 

WVUS Pay Grade Level: 241

 

Estimated hiring range: $172,200 – $232,400
