About the V&A M+C Team

The global Ventures & Acquisitions (V&A) Marketing + Communications (M+C) team partners with the Accenture business and M+C, and the acquired company, to best deliver on the acquisition strategy and business case, foster cohesion and inspire our teams, so we are truly better together. This is an opportunity to be part of a unique and highly collaborative team, and develop specialist M+C skills, while delivering direct impact on the Accenture business.

About the role

As part of Accenture’s global M+C Post Merger Integration (PMI) Team, you will join colleagues in Costa Rica and our Americas virtual hub to support the Americas M+C PMI Leads. You will partner with Corporate Development PMI, M+C, corporate functions, business teams, and the acquired company, to transfer brand equity from announcement through full integration, through a series if joint, strategic M+C activities that drive commercial growth and help acquired employees feel a sense of belonging for a range of Accenture acquisitions.

Your responsibilities:

Supporting the Americas M+C PMI Leads, you will work in collaboration with leaders and teams across Accenture and the acquired company to help create, manage and execute a tailored M+C transition strategy and plan, that leverages the best of both organizations, and transfers M+C activities and brand equity from the acquired company to Accenture, aligned to the brand strategy—through strong planning, stakeholder management and strategic alignment.

This will include but is not limited to:

  • Working alongside the M+C Deal Phase Team to set up the deal for strong PMI support, helping to identify possible areas that will require explicit focus during the integration.
  • Helping to position V&A M+C as a strategic and expert PMI partner, that provides guidance and delivers best practices for successful M+C integration of each Accenture acquisition.
  • Work in collaboration with the Accenture and acquired company business, PMI workstream and M+C leads to help deliver a strategic, integrated M+C plan that evaluates and evolves the M+C activities and brand equity from the acquired company to Accenture, working to an agreed brand integration timeline, with a series of milestones along the journey.
  • Help guide the review and recommendations for any acquired marketers.
  • Work with specialist Accenture global and local M+C, and other Corporate Functions and PMI, teams to help create and refine enhanced processes, and deliver best practices across data privacy (DP), stories, events, recruitment marketing and people engagement to reduce risk and talent attrition, setting up the acquired business to best deliver sales and growth.
