Traveling Early Education & English Tutor

We are seeking a highly engaging Native English-speaking Traveling Tutor to provide personalized early education for three siblings, following the British National Curriculum. This is a travel-based position supporting a private family and requires flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with children.

The initial engagement will be based in Costa Rica, from approximately 10 October through early November (approximately 4 weeks). The successful candidate will be expected to travel with the family and provide a consistent, engaging, and age-appropriate educational experience throughout the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide lessons to three siblings (aged 4, 6, and 9)
• Adapt lesson plans to each child's learning pace and academic goals
• Track progress and provide regular written reports to the Head of Education
• Travel internationally with the family as required

Requirements

• Native English-speaker
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Education; teaching qualification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of tutoring or teaching experience within the British curriculum
• Ability to teach Numeracy & Literacy to a 4-year-old.
• Ability to teach Maths, Science & Humanities to a 6-year-old.
• Strong ability to teach English as a First Language to ages 6–9, including comprehension, grammar, and creative writing, aligned with UK independent school standards.
• Strong 1-to-1 teaching skills across different ages and ability levels.
• Ability to differentiate and adapt teaching strategies to individual learning needs.
• Ability to assess progress, identify gaps and plan learning accordingly.
• Ability to build engagement, independence and strong learning habits.
• Comfortable with frequent international travel (Europe, LatAm, South Africa, United Arab Emirates)
