Travel Content Creator

We are looking for a Freelance Travel Content Creator (Japan) to create engaging, authentic short-form video content.

The ideal candidate is passionate about international travel, has an engaged social media audience in Japan, and possesses strong storytelling and video production skills. You'll create relatable travel content that naturally integrates the client's travel payment solution into real-life travel experiences and highlights its benefits for international travelers.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver 8 high-quality short-form videos per month focused on travel-related payment experiences.
• Develop creative, engaging content that shows how the product can be used while travelling internationally.
• Conceptualize, film, edit, and produce videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other short-form platforms.
• Naturally integrate the product into real-life travel scenarios, such as shopping, dining, transportation, and everyday spending abroad.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on content ideas, brand messaging, and creative direction.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with Japanese audiences.
• Deliver content according to agreed timelines and incorporate feedback when necessary.

Requirements

• With a strong passion for international travel.
• Active micro-influencer or content creator with an engaged audience in Japan, preferably in the travel or lifestyle niche.
• Experience creating short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or similar platforms.
• Strong video storytelling, filming, and editing skills.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and creating authentic, engaging content.
• Native or fluent Japanese speaker with a strong understanding of Japanese social media trends and audiences.
• Ability to independently manage content production, from ideation to final editing.
• Previous experience working with brands on sponsored content or UGC campaigns is an advantage.
• Familiarity with fintech, travel-related financial services, or digital payment solutions is a plus.
