Position Overview

A hands-on project leader and problem solver who drives critical transformation initiatives from idea through implementation. This role works deeply within business processes to understand how work gets done today, challend legacy ways of working, and help designa nd implement fundamentally better ways of operating. Using AI, automation, and modern porcess improvement tools, they help reimagine work rather than simply improve what already exists. They bring structure to ambiguity, create momentum, navigate resistance, and build strong partnerships while maintaining the conviction and pace needed to turn ambitious ideas into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end domain processes from current state to a fundamentally redesigned future state, using AI, automation and data. Build execution roadmap, break into deliverable stages, resolve key data, process, and decision-rights dependencies, and drive to implementation and adoption.
  • Own defined projects in your domain's transformation portfolio, with direct accountability for execution, outcomes and measurable impact.
  • Work side-by-side with business teams to map, build, pilot, and implement new ways of working.
  • Immerse quickly in unfamiliar subject matter, becoming a knowledgeable and trusted partner to sponsors and teams.
  • Ask the hard questions and contructively challenge assumptions, backed by the analysis and facts to make them land.
  • Deliver outcomes and impact, not just run meeting agendas: turn discussion into decisions, decisions into design, and design into delivery.
  • Track impact relentlessly, tying projects to measurable financial and operational outcomes and ensuring benefits are realized.
  • Lead working sessions and build materials that surface issues, drive decisions, and create accountability (steering committees, exec reviews etc.)
  • Manage project execution with discipline, maintaining clear milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and escalations to keep work on track.

Attributes

  • Modern/AI Native Mindset: Naturally leverages AI, agents, automations, to do your own job better and work smarter and faster.
  • Hands-On Builder: Rolls up your sleeves to understand , map, design, test solutions and implement, not just manage from a distance.
  • Goes Deep on Purpose: Quickly immerses in unfamiliar areas, asks the right questions, and builds the knowledge and credibility needed to challenge how work gets done.
  • Comfortable Without a Playbook: Brings structure to ambiguous problems and stars somewhere useful rather than waiting for full clarity.
  • Biased for Action: Thrives wehre others get stuck in analysis, resistance, or politics; moves quickly from idea to execution.
  • Constructive Partner: Builds strong relationships across funcions while challenging assumptions and legacy practice.
  • Results Driven: Maintains a relentless focus on measureable impact, following through until real performance outcomes are achieved.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years in consulting, project management, process improvement, or an analytical role. Demonstrated ability to learn fast in unfamiliar domains matters more than years.
  • Owned a piece of work end-to-end and carried it to a result.
  • Uses AI daily in your own work and can demonstrate how.
  • Experience in consulting, rotational, or leadership-development program; exposure to complex business problems is a plus.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or exposure to structured problem-solving welcome.
  • No prior chemicals, operations, procurement, or supply chain experience required. We're hiring for learning agility, appetite, and speed, not subject-matter expertise.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Fluent using AI in daily work (research, synthesis, analysis, drafting). Reached for a model before a spreadsheet.
  • Strong analytical horsepower. Excel modeling, structuring, messy data, comfort in Power BI or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of structured problem-solving (Lean Six Sigma, design thinking, agile sprints, value stream mapping).
  • Enough data literacy to recognize when a workflow is automatable and when it isn't.
  • Curiosity about how process work connects to P&L outcomes.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and storytelling skills.
