Role Overview:
We are looking for a senior Transformation Consultant with a strong consulting background and deep experience in technology-enabled transformation within Life Sciences environments (MedTech and Healthcare are valuable).
The role focuses on helping clients solve complex transformation challenges across operating models, technology landscapes, delivery organizations, and enterprise platforms. The consultant is expected to bring rigorous analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and the seniority to operate credibly with both business and IT stakeholders.
This is a hands-on consulting role for someone who combines strategic thinking with pragmatic execution, and who can independently drive workstreams in lean international consulting environments.
The ideal candidate brings continuity and depth in transformation consulting, rather than broad but shallow exposure across unrelated domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment & Problem Structuring
Perform deep-dive analyses of technology landscapes, operating models, and delivery setups.
Structure complex problems into clear hypotheses, options, and decision paths.
Go beyond surface-level assessments, identifying root causes and trade-offs.
Technology Transformation
Lead and contribute to technology transformation initiatives (e.g. IT or Business operating model evolution, application landscape simplification, delivery model changes).
Translate business objectives into concrete, actionable transformation initiatives.
Support roadmap definition with clear prioritization logic and impact rationale.
Solution & Delivery Support
Work hands-on with enterprise solutions and platforms (e.g. Veeva platforms).
Support implementation phases with a strong understanding of dependencies, risks, and constraints.
Engage pragmatically with vendors and system integrators where required.
Stakeholder Interaction
Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, using structured, analytical argumentation.
Facilitate working sessions and decision forums with clear preparation, logic, and outcomes.
Communicate complex topics clearly, without losing analytical rigor.
Stakeholder & Client interaction
Work closely with business and IT stakeholders at different levels
Act as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions
Communicate clearly and pragmatically in international settings
Skills & Experience Required
Core Requirements
Strong background in technology transformation consulting, with hands-on involvement in shaping and executing transformation initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technology and delivery problems in depth, identify root causes, and structure clear recommendations.
Proven experience working on technology-centric topics such as IT / Business operating models, application landscapes, delivery models, or platform transformations.
Solid understanding of Life Science Business & IT environments, with exposure to R&D domains, and how technology choices impact business outcomes.
Ability to translate strategic objectives into concrete, actionable transformation initiatives, not just high-level concepts.
Comfortable operating autonomously in a lean consulting setup, with high degree of ownership, with ability to operate autonomously in most situations.
Full professional fluency in English.
Success in this role means
Transformation problems are clearly structured and deeply understood.
Stakeholders trust the consultant’s analytical rigor and recommendations.
Technology transformation initiatives progress with clarity, focus, and measurable impact.
The consultant is perceived as sharp, structured, and intellectually solid, not just communicative.

Experience Profile
Typically 8–15 years of experience in technology-enabled transformation or advisory roles within Life Science
Career path showing depth and continuity in technology transformation topics, rather than frequent shifts across unrelated consulting domains.
Proven experience in Life Science environments, with exposure to R&D-related processes, systems, or operating models.
Experience in large or complex organizations, where analytical rigor and structured problem-solving are essential.
Proven Track Record as Consultant in an international Consulting firm
Analytical & Consulting Skills
Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to go beyond descriptive answers and provide well-reasoned, evidence-based insights.
