The Role

As a Territory Manager Qatar, you will be responsible for sales and the development of the Victaulic product range and system in Qatar for Energy & Infrastructure.

Background experience with activities related to Qatar Energy is a must. Knowledge in the water & infrastructure sector is a plus.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for sales and promotion of company product range in Qatar.

• Report on weekly basis to his superior on activities and marketing information and achieve the budgeted sales and results. 

• Create demand at Owners, Engineering Offices, Contractors to promote the Victaulic System for binding application products for Energy & Infrastructure in Qatar.

• Field demonstrates the proper installation of the Victaulic product & tool range

• Insure that the proper knowledge of the Victaulic products and system is present in Qatar, through usage of adequate means such as: seminars, training, technical support.

• Liaise with the local Victaulic distributor, and ensure the proper information flow is available and maintained.

• Visit job sites and follow up of installation process of the Victaulic System by the contractor. Train the contractor's personnel in usage and installation of the Victaulic system if required.

• Handle product claims in cooperation with Victaulic Corporate Engineering department.

• Provide assistance to finance personnel in collecting receivables on customers.

• Co-ordinate with other sales colleagues in Qatar and other regions.

Education and/or Experience:

• Mechanical engineering degree.

• Technical knowledge acquired through experience (minimum 5 years).

• Ability to lead a business process within mechanical building services.

• Familiarity with the piping and valves business or show the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.

• A minimum 5 years’ experience working in commercial sector with strong business relationships with contractors, MEP and consultants.

• Strong background in activities related to Qatar Energy and mechanical systems.

• Independent problem-solving abilities and out of the box thinking.

• Willing to travel as required.

• Has strong communication skills and professional appearance.

• Living in the Qatar.

• Arabic speaker and fluent in English
