Remote VA is seeking a dedicated Tenant Collections Specialist to manage rent collections and ensure timely payments from tenants. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining positive relationships with tenants while ensuring the company's financial interests are protected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact tenants regarding overdue rent payments and follow up to ensure timely collections.
- Maintain accurate records of payment statuses and collection efforts.
- Coordinate with property management and other departments to resolve tenant payment issues.
- Generate reports on collections and outstanding balances.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with tenants to foster positive relationships.
- Assist in improving collection procedures and tenant communication processes.
Requirements
- Experience in tenant collections or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
- Professional and empathetic approach to tenant relations.
