This is a temporary, full-time, remote position with an anticipated end date of October 31, 2026.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The Recording Academy is looking for a precise, platform-fluent temporary Social Media Publishing Coordinator to support the Social Media team. This is a hands-on execution role built for someone who thrives on operational rigor — managing a high volume of publishing activity across platforms with accuracy, consistency, and speed.

This role is squarely focused on execution. The right candidate is a skilled operator who knows Sprout Social inside and out, understands the nuances of publishing across native platforms, and takes pride in getting the details right every time. We are not looking for a strategist, a creative, or a community manager — those functions are well covered. We need someone who is exceptional at the craft of publishing and can step in and move with the team immediately.

If you are energized by workflow, have a sharp eye for detail, and can execute at a high level with minimal ramp time, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Applying the established brand voice of the Recording Academy and GRAMMYs, responsibilities include:

  • Publish and schedule content across all social media platforms using Sprout Social and native platform tools, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn and YouTube.

  • Write and finalize captions for posts in accordance with established copy direction and brand voice standards.

  • Apply tags, labels, and campaign tracking within Sprout Social in alignment with the team's established taxonomy and organizational system.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure content is queued, scheduled, and published accurately and on time.

  • Flag any publishing issues, platform errors, or content discrepancies to the appropriate team member promptly.

  • Maintain clear, professional outbound communications with current and prospective creators, representing the Recording Academy with the polish and cultural awareness the brand demands.

  • Support the broader Social Media and Integrated Marketing teams with creator-adjacent initiatives and tentpole campaign needs as they arise.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related fields, or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience publishing content across major social media platforms in a professional setting — agency, in-house, or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in Sprout Social is required; candidates unfamiliar with the platform will not be considered.

  • Fluency with native publishing tools across Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, Thread, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Strong attention to detail — from caption copy to tagging protocol, accuracy is non-negotiable in this role.

  • Ability to manage a high volume of publishing tasks efficiently and without things slipping.

  • Strong organizational skills and comfort operating within established workflows and systems.

  • Ability to work independently, move quickly, and require minimal direction once onboarded.

  • Clear, professional written communication skills.

  • Comfort with an at-will, week-to-week engagement structure with no guaranteed contract length beyond the agreed hourly rate.

  • Passion for music and the music industry is a plus; familiarity with the GRAMMYs brand is always welcome.
