Edelman is looking for a Temporary Senior Copywriter to help create work that earns attention and inspires conversation. Our growing creative teams partner with some of the world's most iconic brands to develop ideas that resonate across culture, social media, earned media, and brand experiences. We're looking for a strong writer and conceptual thinker who can help bring those ideas to life for one of our leading beauty clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling copy and creative concepts across social, digital, experiential, influencer, and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Write engaging brand storytelling that captures the client's voice and resonates with target audiences.
• Partner with art directors, designers, strategists, account teams, and producers to develop integrated creative ideas from concept through execution.
• Translate strategic insights into culturally relevant, consumer-focused creative.
• Present creative work and articulate the strategic thinking behind concepts to internal teams and clients.
• Ensure all copy is on-brand, audience-focused, and aligned with campaign objectives.
• Incorporate feedback from clients and internal stakeholders while maintaining the integrity of the creative idea.
• Stay current on beauty trends, social platforms, and cultural conversations to inform creative development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house creative environment.
• Experience developing integrated campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and influencer marketing.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone across multiple brands and audiences.
• Strong conceptual thinking and a portfolio demonstrating breakthrough creative work.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Passion for beauty, culture, and consumer trends.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with beauty, CPG, lifestyle, or fashion brands in an agency or in-house environment.
• Strong understanding of social-first creative, influencer marketing, and emerging digital platforms.
• Ability to write across a variety of formats, including campaign concepts, social content, experiential activations, video scripts, product messaging, and earned media initiatives.
• A passion for beauty trends, consumer behavior, and cultural conversations, with the ability to translate insights into compelling creative ideas.
• Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, including strategy, creative, account, production, and influencer marketing.
• Portfolio showcasing integrated campaigns that demonstrate strong conceptual thinking, storytelling, and craftsmanship.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple stakeholder reviews.

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
