Job Description

The Technical Project Manager 4 is responsible for driving the execution of complex technical initiatives that span multiple teams within the organization. This role partners closely with engineering architecture security and operations teams to plan coordinate and deliver key capabilities that support cloud‑based service delivery and platform stability within defined functional or platform areas.

The Technical Project Manager 4 operates with strong technical fluency and execution discipline owning delivery plans dependency tracking risk management and coordination for large or high-impact initiatives. This role influences outcomes through collaboration clear communication and structured execution rather than formal authority.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of complex multi-team technical initiatives within defined functional or platform areas. Translate technical requirements and objectives into actionable project plans with clear milestones ownership and dependencies.
  • Coordinate cross-team work by identifying tracking and resolving delivery dependencies and risks. Ensure initiatives progress predictably through planning development and delivery phases.
  • Develop working knowledge of product and platform architecture technical constraints and system interactions. Partner with engineering and architecture teams to ensure delivery plans are feasible and aligned with technical realities.
  • Ask relevant technical and execution questions to surface risks tradeoffs and sequencing concerns early. Escalate issues appropriately when scope timelines or dependencies are at risk.
  • Partner with engineering architecture security operations and product stakeholders to align execution expectations. Drive clarity and shared understanding across teams with competing priorities.
  • Maintain and adjust execution plans as technical discoveries are made or priorities change. Proactively identify risks and support mitigation planning with accountable owners.
  • Provide clear concise status updates to project stakeholders and leadership. Communicate progress risks and tradeoffs in a timely and actionable manner.
  • Apply standard delivery practices project tracking and coordination mechanisms to support consistent execution. Identify opportunities to improve project workflows communication or coordination within assigned initiatives.
  • Serve as a reliable delivery partner for technical teams demonstrating strong organization follow-through and accountability.
  • Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned contributing to best practice discussions and sharing execution insights with peers.
  • Provide informal guidance or peer support to other project managers or team members as appropriate without formal mentorship or management responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting delivery of complex technical initiatives in an engineering‑centric environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with working knowledge of software architecture distributed systems and cloud/SaaS platforms.
  • Experience partnering with product engineering platform infrastructure or cloud teams to gather requirements and drive execution.
  • Working knowledge of cloud technologies CI/CD pipelines infrastructure automation and software migration concepts.
  • Proficient application of project management and change management methodologies tools and delivery best practices.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present clear timely project updates.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage initiatives independently prioritize effectively and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills attention to detail and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively providing informal guidance or support to peers as appropriate.
