Job Description

Accesa is looking for a German-speaking Product Owner to help establish and evolve a dedicated cloud service team supporting a production Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Landing Zone.

You will work closely with client stakeholders, an Architect and DevOps/service specialists to translate business needs into a prioritized roadmap and backlog. Your initial focus will be on discovery, operational readiness and defining a sustainable service model as the first application workloads are onboarded.

Alongside the Landing Zone work, you will help co-create and validate a broader Cloud Broker concept, exploring how standardized cloud capabilities can support application teams and requests involving external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner or Service Owner in cloud platforms, infrastructure or managed services.
• Working knowledge of GCP and cloud Landing Zone concepts, sufficient to discuss requirements, dependencies and trade-offs with technical specialists.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, and the value of reusable modules and standardized services.
• Experience creating roadmaps, prioritizing backlogs and defining acceptance criteria in an Agile delivery environment.
• Familiarity with production service operations, incident management, escalation processes, service levels and on-call models.
• Ability to turn an evolving concept into a practical service scope, delivery priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, including coordination across client, delivery and partner organizations.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to connect scope and service expectations with capacity and cost.
• Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes.
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result.
• Professional working proficiency in German and English.

Nice to Have: 

• Experience establishing a dedicated service team or transitioning a cloud platform into a managed operational model.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments, particularly GCP and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with cloud service catalogs, platform products or Cloud Broker models.
• Familiarity with enterprise application onboarding and organizational ownership boundaries.
• Relevant Product Owner, cloud or IT service management certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Own and prioritize the product and service backlog, balancing workload onboarding, operational needs, reusable capabilities and longer-term development.
• Lead discovery activities with client stakeholders and technical experts to clarify scope, dependencies, responsibilities and success criteria.
• Translate business and operational requirements into actionable backlog items with clear acceptance criteria.
• Partner with the Architect to shape the roadmap for standardized cloud services and reusable Terraform modules.
• Coordinate the definition of the operational service model, including daily operations, incident escalation, potential 24/7 coverage, on-call arrangements and response-time requirements.
• Maintain regular communication between the Accesa service team, client stakeholders, application teams and relevant partners.
• Clarify ownership and handoffs across organizational boundaries, including coordination with the client’s GCP IAM owner.
• Co-develop Cloud Broker use cases and validate service feasibility, dependencies and expected delivery times through concrete scenarios.
• Define and track measures of service value and performance, such as onboarding lead time, service adoption, delivery predictability and agreed operational targets.
• Support delivery and commercial stakeholders in moving from an initial time-and-materials discovery phase toward a clearly scoped service and pricing model.
• Guide the gradual expansion of the team and service scope based on validated demand and delivery experience.
