LILT is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to own our connector strategy and roadmap, making integrations a reliable, scalable part of our enterprise platform.
Our connectors link LILT with customers’ content management systems, repositories, and business applications, securely moving content, metadata, and workflow status between systems.
You’ll combine strong product judgment, deep integration expertise, and customer-facing leadership to guide the connector portfolio from discovery through launch and ongoing improvement. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Solutions, Forward-Deployed Engineering, Customer Engineering, Customer Success, and customers to turn complex integration needs into scalable product capabilities.
This is a technical product role for someone who can read code, evaluate integration designs, lead validation, and work directly with customers. You’ll also use AI tools and agentic workflows to accelerate discovery, analysis, documentation, and execution while applying your own judgment.
Connectors will be your primary focus. As part of a small Product team, you may take on additional product responsibilities as business priorities evolve.
Own connector strategy and the roadmap. Set priorities, make tradeoffs, and sequence delivery based on customer needs, business impact, technical constraints, and engineering capacity.
Lead new connectors and capabilities from discovery through launch. Define requirements, validate prerequisites, establish acceptance criteria, and coordinate delivery and customer readiness.
Turn customer implementations into scalable products. Partner with Forward-Deployed Engineering to identify repeatable needs, translate field learnings into product investments, and establish clear handoffs between customer-specific implementations and reusable connector capabilities.
Evaluate technical feasibility. Review third-party documentation, assess integration approaches, and challenge assumptions before engineering commits to delivery.
Own validation and acceptance testing. Develop and execute internal and customer-facing test plans covering integration behavior, file and tag handling, and customer requirements. Document results, defects, and release-readiness decisions in partnership with technical teams.
Drive portfolio reliability. Prioritize high-impact connector issues, establish escalation criteria, and coordinate resolution. Identify recurring failures that require product or platform improvements.
Lead technical customer conversations. Guide discovery, setup planning, scoping, troubleshooting, and readiness discussions, explaining technical constraints clearly to different audiences.
Enable implementation and support teams. Create documentation, runbooks, and guidance that help teams handle routine connector setup and support.
Keep stakeholders aligned. Maintain a clear view of connector status, risks, ownership, priorities, and customer impact.
Use AI effectively. Apply AI tools and agentic workflows to improve the speed and quality of research, scoping, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
You’ll be accountable for the connector portfolio’s product direction, priorities, readiness, and delivery coordination. Engineering owns production implementation and quality, while Forward-Deployed Engineering owns customer-specific implementation and field delivery.
You’ll enable the teams responsible for routine setup and support, stepping in when issues create broader risks to onboarding, customer relationships, or revenue. Your focus will include resolving recurring problems through product improvements.
Broader analytics and data-platform ownership sits outside this role, apart from limited work supporting connector needs.
Product ownership: A track record of owning a technical product or integration portfolio, setting roadmap priorities, managing tradeoffs, and driving ambiguous work through delivery.
Technical depth and a builder mindset: Ability to read code, reason about implementation tradeoffs, participate in architecture discussions, and build prototypes or tools when useful. Production development is owned by Engineering, but you should be comfortable doing technical work directly.
AI and Agentic fluency: Demonstrated ability to design and use agentic workflows for research, requirements, analysis, documentation, or troubleshooting. You evaluate outputs critically and remain accountable for decisions.
Deep integration expertise: Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, authentication, webhooks, data mapping, file round-tripping, rate limits, retries, error handling, and observability.
Cross-platform experience: Experience integrating multiple third-party systems and learning unfamiliar APIs, data models, and constraints. Relevant backgrounds include integration automation, embedded integration platforms, developer platforms, and enterprise SaaS.
Strong product judgment: Ability to write clear specifications, prioritize competing customer needs, and distinguish customer-specific requests from systemic product opportunities.
Customer-facing leadership: Confidence leading technical discovery and troubleshooting with customers and explaining complex topics to localization managers, administrators, and business stakeholders.
Clear communication: Ability to produce concise decisions, plans, documentation, status updates, and escalation guidance for technical and nontechnical teams.

Experience with platforms such as Workato, Zapier, Tray, Prismatic, Paragon, or Merge.
Familiarity with TypeScript or a similar modern programming language.
Experience supporting enterprise integrations in high-assurance or regulated environments.
Familiarity with connector usage analytics and basic data analysis.
Experience introducing AI-enabled working practices across product and engineering teams.
New connector work reaches Engineering with clear scope, validated prerequisites, acceptance criteria, and defined ownership.
Implementation and support teams have effective setup documentation, runbooks, and escalation guidance.
Recurring reliability issues inform prioritized product and platform improvements.

Roadmap decisions balance strategic priorities with urgent customer needs.
High-impact connector issues have clear owners, priorities, status, and resolution plans.
AI and agentic workflows measurably improve the speed and quality of discovery, scoping, documentation, analysis, and issue resolution.
Our founders, Spence and John met at Google working on Google Translate. As researchers at Stanford and Berkeley, they both worked on language technology to make information accessible to everyone. While together at Google, they were amazed to learn that Google Translate wasn’t used for enterprise products and services inside the company. The quality just wasn’t there. So they set out to build something better. LILT was born.
LILT has been a machine learning company since its founding in 2015. At the time, machine translation didn’t meet the quality standard for enterprise translations, so LILT assembled a cutting-edge research team tasked with closing that gap. While meeting customer demand for translation services, LILT has prioritized investments in Large Language Models, human-in-the-loop systems, and now agentic AI.
With AI innovation accelerating and enterprise demand growing, the next phase of LILT’s journey is just beginning.
What sets our platform apart:
Brand-aware AI that learns your voice, tone, and terminology to ensure every translation is accurate and consistent
Agentic AI workflows that automate the entire translation process from content ingestion to quality review to publishing
