The Technical Product Lead will define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap while serving as the primary link between business, architecture, and development teams. They are responsible for managing product backlogs, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and ensuring technology solutions meet security and scalability requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will participate in lightweight, architecture, design, and code review.
Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned IT products and platforms.
Collaborate with business leaders, users, architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to gather and prioritize requirements.
Lead product lifecycle activities from ideation and planning through implementation and ongoing optimization.
Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Partner with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and compliance requirements.
Manage product backlogs and prioritize initiatives based on business value, risk, and technical dependencies.
Drive implementation and rollout of new applications
Serve as the escalation point for product-related issues and incidents, coordinating with business and development.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release coordination where applicable.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and provide regular updates on product progress and outcomes.
Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and technology modernization.
Support vendor evaluations, technology assessments, and implementation projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field OR equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, IT Leadership, Lead Development, Solution/Application architecture or related roles.
Strong understanding of enterprise applications, systems integration, APIs, cloud platforms, databases, ELT and software development lifecycles.
Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong understanding of at least two of the following technologies: Snowflake, Databricks, RDBMS, SQL, Python
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Proven experience managing product roadmaps and delivering technology solutions.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
