Supporting VARs, Distributors, integrators, service partners, MSSPs, and cloud-focused partners ensures clearer technical journeys and stronger business outcomes worldwide.

This role focuses on creating technical enablement content, demos, and partner-ready assets for Akamai's Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing portfolio. Collaboration across product, marketing, sales, services, and technical teams ensures partners receive practical, accurate, and scalable guidance. The role
helps translate product capabilities into clear technical stories that improve readiness, independence, and partner productivity.

As a Technical Marketing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating partner-ready demos, labs, and technical stories for Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing offerings
  • Translating product capabilities into clear enablement assets for VARs, distributors, SIs, MSSPs, and cloud partners
  • Building hands-on workshops and demo journeys for API security, Zero Trust, WAF, bots, and cloud
  • Partnering with product, marketing, sales, services, and technical teams to align priorities and execution
  • Developing scalable technical content that reduces partner ramp time and improves field readiness
  • Measuring
    content usage, partner adoption, and technical readiness to improve enablement
    outcomes

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a High School / bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • Possess 2+ of experience in technical marketing, partner enablement, solutions engineering, or channel programs.
  • Understand cybersecurity, cloud computing, SaaS, APIs, distributed infrastructure, or partner-driven technical sales approaches effectively and comprehensively.
  • Develop demos, labs, workshops, and technical materials tailored for sales, pre-sales, or partner-focused audiences.
  • Convey complex technical ideas effectively to diverse, international, cross-functional, and partner-oriented teams.
  • Leverage data, feedback, and platform insights to enhance partner engagement and optimize content impact for better outcomes.
  • Influence stakeholders using practical judgment, business context, and effective execution discipline.
