Our Guidewire team focuses on delivering Guidewire implementation services to Insurance clients. We deliver end to end Guidewire suite implementations, blending technical skills and strategy to advise top ASX organisations, not-for-profit companies and private clients with spectacular results. And we’re looking for a leader to take our team to the next level, as we help to resolve complex business issues from strategy to execution within our vast community of solvers.

As an expert in Guidewire PolicyCenter, you’ll lead a team that will help clients harness technology systems in financial services focusing on areas such as insurance, sales performance management, retirement and pension, asset management, and banking & capital markets. In our Guidewire team, you’ll also be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, preferably from Insurance domain background
  • Experience on Guidewire Cloud, PolicyCenter preferred. Billing Center and Claim Center considered. Experience on Guidewire cloud concepts is preferred
  • Experience in Guidewire Digital, Integration and Data Technologies (Jutro, Data Studio, Explore, Integration Gateway, etc)
  • Experience in software architecture and design patterns
  • Knowledge in Guidewire platform technologies and tools (Guidewire Cloud Console, Gosu scripting, PCFs, Data Model, Visual Code Studio/JetBrains, JMS, JSON, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Rest API, Git/Bitbucket) 
  • Experience on any database Oracle / SQL Server / Postgres and well versed in SQL 
  • Understanding of key platforms that integrate with Guidewire e.g. electronic content management solutions, finance solutions, middleware, etc.
  • Strong understanding and experience of software development best practices
  • Strong business communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and team leading
  • Experience with coordinating build, deployment, and code merge activities
  • Experience working with client business SMEs to understand the requirements and translate them into viable solutions  
  • Experience in technical problem solving and triaging including design and development defects
