Job Title:             Customer Success (Senior) Technical Consultant

Location:            Germany

Job Summary

The Customer Success team is responsible for driving the successful adoption, expansion, and long-term value of our software solutions across our existing customer base, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

The Technical Consultant provides technical expertise, implementation services, and solution guidance across the Centric product portfolio, with a primary focus on Centric PLM. Working closely with customers, the Technical Consultant analyzes business requirements, designs and implements technical solutions, supports integrations and data migrations, and provides best-practice recommendations to help customers maximize the value of their Centric investment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong combination of business process knowledge and technical skills to deliver impactful solutions and contribute to customer success.

This role reports to the Technical Team Lead, Customer Success.

Responsibilities

  • Assess customer systems, IT landscapes, and data usage to identify challenges and root causes.
  • Advise customers on best practices and recommend solutions aligned with business needs and PLM capabilities.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and solution approaches to customer stakeholders.
  • Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations to internal and external audiences.
  • Lead customer discussions on data migration and system integration strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to provide customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Configure solutions and develop TypeScript-based configurations for demos, POCs, and customer requirements.
  • Understand customer business drivers, objectives, and risks to support solution positioning.
  • Produce technical proposals, solution documentation, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and code of conduct.

Skills

  • The ability to demonstrate Centric Solutions and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge
  • In depth working knowledge of Centric PLM OOTB Functionality and configuration possibilities.
  • Strong understanding of PLM technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to present and discuss customer solution architectures and technical designs.
  • Experience balancing Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) functionality with custom configuration.
  • Knowledge of data migration, mapping, and data cleansing from legacy systems.
  • Hands-on experience with XML, APIs, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with VPN, Private Link, Keycloak, and SSO technologies.
  • Understanding of node-based data structures.
  • Experience developing integrations using REST APIs and AMQP; Kafka knowledge is a plus.
  • Understanding of High Availability (HA) and client-server architectures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel across the European sales region.

Qualification

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science / or equivalent 
  • Fluent German & English (spoken/written)
  • Proven presentation and communication skills
  • Knowledge in Bitbucket/JIRA/Confluences
  • 3 - 10 years experience working for a Technical / Integration / PLM software vendor
