This is a remote position.
Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect – Java to lead the architecture, design, and technical direction of complex enterprise applications and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, AWS Cloud, BPM, Rules Engines, and Enterprise System Integration.
The candidate will be responsible for defining scalable and resilient solutions, making key technology decisions, establishing non-functional requirements, and guiding engineering teams through design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture and make strategic technology decisions.
- Design scalable, secure, highly available, and resilient enterprise applications.
- Define and validate Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), including performance, security, scalability, availability, and reliability.
- Design and review Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Microservices architecture, including:
- Service decomposition
- API contracts and governance
- REST and gRPC APIs
- Resilience and fault-tolerance patterns
- Distributed transactions and data consistency
- Event-driven architecture
- Design and implement event-driven solutions using Kafka or equivalent messaging platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Collaborate with client architects, business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams.
- Define integration strategies for legacy systems, third-party platforms, and external enterprise applications.
- Establish data mapping strategies, canonical data models, error-handling mechanisms, and retry patterns.
- Drive cloud-native architecture and deployment strategies on AWS.
- Support technical decisions related to scalability, performance optimization, security, and operational excellence.
Required Technical Skills
Core Java & Spring
- Strong experience with Core Java 17+.
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and preferably gRPC.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency, fault tolerance, and distributed transactions.
Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture
- Expertise in microservices design and service decomposition.
- Strong understanding of API design and contract management.
- Experience with resilience patterns such as:
- Circuit Breaker

- Hands-on experience with Kafka or equivalent messaging platforms.
