About the Role
The Team Lead, Reimbursement Director (TL) serves as a critical player-coach within the ANI Rare Disease Patient Support organization, balancing direct patient access responsibilities with day-to-day leadership of a team of reimbursement professionals. This highly visible role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring consistent execution across patient cases, and fostering a high-performing, patient-centric team culture.
While maintaining a portfolio of complex or escalated patient cases, the Team Lead provides frontline leadership, coaching, and oversight for Reimbursement Directors, Reimbursement Managers, Reimbursement Specialists, and Field Case Specialists. The Team Lead serves as the first point of escalation for reimbursement challenges, supports team development through ongoing coaching and performance management, and helps drive consistency in patient experience, compliance, and access outcomes.
The Team Lead collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Nurse Access Specialists, Hub Case Managers, Specialty Pharmacies, Market Access, Compliance, Marketing, and Sales, to remove access barriers and ensure patients receive timely access to therapy. This role serves as both an operational leader and subject matter expert, helping to identify trends, improve processes, and elevate overall program performance.

The base salary range for this position is $220,000-$260,000; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry-specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive short term and long-term incentive program based on performance and company results.
