Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a remote Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (TODHH) to provide school-based services through our innovative HyTech Therapy Solution for the 2026–2027 school year.
HyTech combines the flexibility and reach of remote service delivery with dedicated in-person support at the school, creating a collaborative model that helps remote professionals stay connected to students and school teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TODHH or recent graduate who wants the flexibility of remote work while continuing to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting.

Pay Rate: $45–$50/hour

School Year: 2026–2027
Licensure: Massachusetts and New Hampshire licensure required
Boothby's HyTech Therapy Solution is designed to bring highly qualified professionals to schools through a thoughtfully supported hybrid model.
As the remote Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing, you will provide specialized instruction and consultation virtually, while an onsite HyTech Facilitator helps support students and the delivery of services within the school environment.
This model allows you to focus on what you do best, supporting students, while remaining connected to the people and resources needed to deliver effective school-based services.

Dedicated Service Delivery Manager for ongoing guidance and support
Collaboration with educators, SLPs, related service providers, and school teams

Provide remote specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
Deliver services virtually in collaboration with the onsite HyTech Facilitator
Adapt curriculum, instruction, and materials to ensure student access and participation
Support the development of communication, language, academic, and self-advocacy skills
Use American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other appropriate communication modalities
Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, special education staff, families, and related service providers
Participate remotely in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Recommend and utilize assistive technology and adaptive strategies
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
Communicate regularly with school teams and caregivers
Advocate for student needs and promote inclusive educational practices
Valid Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing licensure/certification in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire
Bachelor's degree or higher in Deaf Education or a related field
ASL proficiency appropriate to student needs
Experience in deaf education
Comfort providing instruction and consultation in a virtual environment
Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and technology skills
Ability to work effectively with an onsite facilitator and multidisciplinary school team
