Role

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator helps create a seamless and engaging experience for candidates, hiring teams, and new employees. This role supports recruiting operations, interview coordination, candidate communications, onboarding, and new hire experience initiatives that help attract and retain mission-driven talent.

Responsibilities 

Talent Acquisition & Candidate Experience

  • Coordinate candidate scheduling, interview logistics, and hiring activities across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely communication and a positive candidate experience.
  • Support candidate sourcing, resume review, screening activities, and pipeline management as needed.
  • Assist with offer administration and pre-employment activities.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, workflows, and job postings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Support recruiting reporting, hiring metrics, and talent acquisition operations.

Onboarding & New Hire Experience

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees and contractors from offer acceptance through their first days with the organization.
  • Manage onboarding communications, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination with hiring managers, IT, and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate background checks, I-9 verification, onboarding documentation, and system access requests.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation logistics, onboarding resources, and employee welcome activities.
  • Manage employee swag ordering and distribution.
  • Ensure new hires have the tools, resources, and support needed for a successful onboarding experience.

Recruiting Operations & Employee Experience Support

  • Support the administration and optimization of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other talent-related systems and databases.
  • Maintain recruiting documentation, templates, communication materials, and candidate resources.
  • Support People & Culture communications, shared inbox management, and employee experience initiatives.
  • Assist with reporting, data tracking, and operational projects across Talent Acquisition and People & Culture.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and the overall candidate and employee experience.
  • Provide flexible support across Talent Acquisition and Employee Experience initiatives based on organizational priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee experience, talent operations, or related functions.
  • Experience coordinating interviews, candidate communications, onboarding activities, or hiring processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and applicant tracking systems (ATS) or similar platforms.
  • Commitment to creating positive, inclusive experiences for candidates, employees, and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting remote or distributed teams.
  • Experience working with recruiting technologies, HR systems, or talent databases.
  • Familiarity with ADP- Workforce Now, JazzHR, TriNet, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or mission-driven organization.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, highly preferred.

Reliable High-Speed Internet Required: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection to support seamless remote collaboration, virtual meetings, online job tasks, etc.

For United States-based candidates: 

The target salary range for this position, across the United States, is  $54,516 - $65,966. Starting salary will vary based on location, qualifications, and prior experience. Candidates will learn the range specific to their location during the interview process. We pay competitively in the tech-forward nonprofit space and offer a robust benefits package.
